You think that this video was shot with a video-dslr ?
Think again … as the author tell’s us, this video was shot as a series of photo-frames, with a Nikon D3 and non-tilt&shift lenses. The DOF was added in post. There were over 35.000 frames shot with a Tamron 17-50mm f/2.8 or a Sigma 50-150mm f/2.8 lens, in 4 fps in DX croop mode. The boats had slower frame rates, and the night shots used exposures up to two seconds each. The entire shoot was completed in 5 days and two evenings.
